Use this directory when you need to verify Corsair Cove product identity, update status, a living gameplay table, or a support procedure. The full game is Corsair Cove, Steam AppID 1368140, developed by Limbic Entertainment and published by Hooded Horse. The separate free Demo is AppID 3858730. A page that does not preserve that distinction can easily attach demo fixes or values to the full release.
Base game and purchase identity
Steam base-game store
Canonical title, AppID 1368140, developer, publisher, release date, store features, languages, requirements, and the official count of 62 Steam achievements.
Steam Community hub
The base game's discussions, announcements, guides, reviews, screenshots, and achievement entry point under the correct application.
Official Steam News
Dated developer and publisher announcements. The latest verified base-game release item on the check date is the July 31, 2026 launch of version 1.0.
The store is authoritative for advertised platform and product features, but volatile regional prices and discounts should be read live. A Community post is first-party only when its author is identified as the developer or publisher. Player guides and discussions remain community evidence even when they appear under the official hub.
Official gameplay reference
The Corsair Cove Official Wiki is hosted by publisher Hooded Horse and is the strongest living reference for system descriptions. Its main gameplay pages cover Buildings, Resources, Pirates, Cohesion, Ships, the Compass, Principle Paths, Seven Seas, Events, and Quests.
The wiki is still developing. Some tables contain unknown cells, zeroes that may be unfinished, or older revision data. Treat a visible ? as unknown rather than guessing. Date numerical claims, keep version scope beside them, and prefer system rules over an unsupported “best” ranking.
Full game versus Demo
Full release
AppID 1368140
Released July 31, 2026.
Public label: 1.0.
Default scope for every guide on this site.
Separate Demo
AppID 3858730
Free demonstration application.
Has a separate store and update history.
Demo mechanics and saves are not assumed to transfer.
The Demo store page identifies the separate product. Steam News includes a June 10 “Demo Update #1” that fixed crashes, a tutorial goal, and a pause issue specifically in the demo. That post is useful historical evidence for AppID 3858730, not a base-game patch note. The July 31 launch post is the verified 1.0 base-game milestone.
Achievements and platform boundaries
The full Steam store states that Corsair Cove includes 62 Steam achievements and links to the Steam global achievements view. That official count establishes the Steam total.
The Epic Games Store achievement listing independently shows 62 Epic achievements worth 1000 Epic XP. It currently discloses 39 titles and descriptions and hides 23. Our achievement guide labels its Epic-sourced fields clearly; Epic XP is not Steam metadata, and identical total counts do not prove that every individual trigger is platform-identical.
For platform support, rely on the Steam store’s Windows requirements. Steam Deck compatibility concerns the Windows build running through SteamOS/Proton; it does not establish a native Linux depot. No native macOS support is listed. Store tags are user-assigned and do not prove Workshop or mod-tool support.
Support and issue reporting
Start with the Steam discussion index to check pinned developer or publisher posts, then use the correct support channel linked from the store or publisher resources. Include AppID 1368140, the public version label shown in an official post, Windows or Steam Deck context, hardware, and exact reproduction steps. Do not post save files, account tokens, email addresses, or crash dumps containing personal paths in a public thread.
For client-side installation problems, Steam Support is the authoritative route for Steam downloads, file verification, account access, and client behavior. Game-specific balance, progression, and content questions belong with Corsair Cove’s official channels rather than a generic Steam troubleshooting page.
How to judge an unofficial result
Check the product name and AppID first. Search results for “Corsair Cove codes” are frequently contaminated by an unrelated Old School RuneScape location; Corsair Cove AppID 1368140 has no verified promo-code redemption system. Reject pages that import Roblox currency, gamepasses, console commands, or another game’s save path.
Then inspect date and scope. A prelaunch or demo guide can explain a stable interface concept, but it cannot prove the 1.0 value of a resource ratio or unlock. A database can be useful for discovery, yet its values still need a current official revision or in-game verification before being called definitive.
